Long-Story-Short-Blog-We-are-hiring

UPDATE: Massive thanks to all those who’ve got in touch regarding the position here, we’ve now closed submissions and are trawling through the portfolios we’ve had in. Many thanks to all – we’ll be in touch soon.

We’ve bought too many biscuits, we can’t possibly eat all these biscuits on our own, so once more into the turbulent sea of applicant sourcing to find a suitable new addition to the team. We’re looking for a junior designer to come on board to help with junior designing. Once enough juniors have been suitable designed to acceptable standards we’d be looking to upscale forward synergize role-development opportunities to include young adult design, mature adult design and potentially senior OAP design. Wowee.

We’d love to hear from any applicants who wish to stop in for a cup of tea and some rock hard questions on rock hard design. I am, of course, kidding. There will be no tea.

Tai gets a trim

Tai-update

A few years ago when a newly launched Long Story Short had just opened it’s doors we produced a site for Tai Hair & Beauty, one of the leading salons down here in Brighton & Hove. Recently they came back to us & asked us to update the site as a fully content managed, mobile compliant, expandable, editable, retractable, understandable, delectable beauty – while staying as true to the original design as possible.

We’ve produced this brand new WordPress site, fully mobile compliant & responsive down to mobile (try resizing the browser window), a re-build from the ground up but still honouring the mark 1 with a nip and a tuck here and there.

Check out the new site here.

Changes afoot….

Realistically we knew our blog posting would be irregular at best, but surely we should have found the time to post with more frequency than this? Well yes, and our apologies for that, but it’s been an exceptionally busy year with all sorts of changes afoot. Over the next few weeks we’ll be introducing some new services we’ve spent the year to date working hard to put in place, showing off some of the work done over the summer and generally using this blog for what it was built for. Stay tuned…
